Pickup Design Frist Project To Transform Toyota Hilux

Carlex Design has made a name for itself outfitting some of the world’s most exotic sports cars and luxury sedans with one-off interiors. Now, the tuning company has created a new brand, dubbed Pickup Design, and unveiled its first project.

Based around a Toyota Hilux, the project sees the tuner transform the pickup’s interior to new heights of luxury while also spending a considerable amount of time on its exterior, improving the vehicle’s ruggedness and preparing it to handle any obstacle.

Speaking of the Hilux’s exterior, it has become barely recognizable. The modifications begin with an all-new front fascia with a custom grille and air intakes, LED light bar, new fog lights and an extremely aggressive bumper that you’d only expect to see from TRD.

The modifications continue to the sides with custom wheels and black wheel arches. Final alterations include new trim across the rear and a large LED roof bar mounted to the top of the windshield.

The cabin is typical Carlex. It includes black leather across the seats with red accents. The black and red elements are also visible on the steering wheel and door panels.
