Larte Design Working To Enhance The Infiniti QX50’s Aesthetics

A little over a year ago, Infiniti unveiled their 2019 QX50 crossover at the LA Auto Show, thus building on the QX Sport Inspiration concept and at the same time introducing what they call a ‘Powerful Elegance’ design.

Another thing that stood out back then regarding the QX50 was the launch of the world’s first variable compression ratio engine in the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo unit, producing 268 HP (272 PS) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque. Altogether, a very interesting new player for the premium compact SUV segment.

Still, if you’re the type of customer who always expects more from their car than what factory-standard products are able to deliver, then know that tuner Larte Design is currently working on a body kit for the QX50, comprised of a custom splitter for the front bumper, blacked out grille, new badging, and a custom diffuser out back, which looks very chunky and sporty.

Add it all together and you gain considerably more road presence, as long as that’s what you’re looking for in the first place.

“The Infiniti QX50 is a completely different car, which is primarily due to the new platform, which allowed designers to perform the exterior of the crossover in the brand’s brand style,” stated Alexey Yanovsky, founder and director of Larte Design. “We accept this challenge and make the front part more expressive, including at the expense of our company grid, which has already become a recognizable element, a family trait. The rear part will be transformed thanks to the diffuser and exhaust system.”

At this point we’re not sure when the project will be finalized, but we look forward to learning more about it in due course.
