At a higher light intensity level, LEDs last much longer, and Philips X-tremeUltinon LED products to show superior durability. Philips X-tremeUltinon Tested on 2016 Toyota Tundra Review

I had to make the wiring hole in the back of the headlight housing a little bigger to fit the plug through, but after that everything fit fine. The drivers (ballasts?) are sitting outside the headlight housing but that’s okay since they are waterproof.

As far as the actual light output goes, they are just about the same as the stock halogens, save for maybe a little bit brighter and a much nicer color. I won’t say I can see farther at night, but I can see better and I feel like others can see me better as well.

These haven’t caused any problems with glare. The cutoff in my halogen housing is still really great, as these bulbs are designed to replicate a halogen cutoff.

All in all, this is a great product that I would totally buy again, and I’ll be recommending it to all my friends.

However, it’s recommended that you get your new Philips LED headlights installed by specialist mechanics – they will make sure you’re ready to go. While these headlights are compatible with a wide range of existing car models, not all car types are supported.
